The BTEC
Department at MCBS is growing faster and operates BTEC Level 3 National
Extended Diploma and BTEC Level 2. BTEC Level 3 is broadly equivalent to three
General Certificate of Education (GCE) A Levels and recognized by the Ministry
of Education in the Sultanate of Oman as grade 12 high school
We are
presently looking for a BTEC Level 3 Business Full-time faculty who will be
reporting to the Head of BTEC Program. The candidate is required to teach from the
following units:

Exploring Business
2.
Research and Plan a Marketing
Campaign
3.
Business Finance
4.
Managing an Event
5.
International Business
6.
Principles of Management
7.
Business Decision Making
8.
Human Resources
9.
Investigating Customer Service
10.
Visual merchandising
11.
Pitching for a new business
12.
Business Ethics
You will be required to adapt and follow the BTEC
edexcel teaching and documentation standards. Adequate training will be
provided during the course of the program.
Scope of work:
§ Ensure the proper completion of
BTEC standard teaching hours for each unit assigned.
§ Assessment of students’ work and
assignments
§ Preparation of Assignment briefs
§ Internal verification of
Assignment briefs and Assignment samples
§ Proper guidance to students and
student attendance
§ Fulfilling other documentations
and requirements as per HOD with respect to the unit.
Qualification,
Experience and other Requirements:
§
Education: Masters/Bachelors in Business Management with B. Ed or M.Ed.
§
Experience: Preferably 2 years teaching in related areas
§
Adequate IT skills. MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
§
Practicing and adapting to modern methods of teaching and
learning
§
